Monograms have always been in style, but in the past year they've exploded onto everything from necklaces to lampshades (no kidding). I love monograms because they're one of the few things that truly belong to you. Everybody can carry the same bag or wear the same necklace, but chances are not as likely that someone will have the same initials as you. You now also have the opportunity to monogram almost anything in an unseeingly endless variety of prints, colors, and fonts, allowing you to stand out even more. Here are some of my favorite monogrammed items.
