The countdown has begun to move on from college dorms and your parents' basement. Freedom is so close you can taste it; no longer will your comings and goings be monitored. You can eat pizza and cookies for breakfast, lunch and dinner. But before these dreams become reality, there's a lot of work to be done with the whole relocation thing. County Fair Style

County and State Fair season is here, and I'm excited. Why? I love amusement rides. When I was in high school, I had dreams of designing rides until I realized folks might feel safer on rides designed by people who passed algebra class. But rides aside, I love to look at the animals and the 4-H exhibits and pop balloons with a dart for yet another Johnny Depp poster. It's not that I'm a Johnny Depp fan, but they don't have George Clooney, and I have no desire for a Bugs Bunny poster circa 1995. Last year, I was at the West Virginia State Fair enjoying the rides when I kept noticing the same phenomenon: women wearing micro mini skirts and four inch heels.
