Nautical Style

Spring has arrived and so has the nautical trend! The great news is that you don’t have to be at the beach or own a boat to wear it.

Navy, red, and white probably come to mind for a nautical ensemble. These colors will help you create a classic look, but the nautical trend has evolved. Adding new colors, patterns, and textures will give it a more modern spin.

If you want your nautical wear to be edgy, opt for vibrant colors. Yellows, corals, greens, and light blues can all say “Anchors Away.” These color combos are unexpected, but they pair well with nautical patterns. Nautical patterns are typically seen in various styles of bold stripes, but you can still pull off a nautical look with floral or geometric patterns. Add these to anything that can be found on a boat or in the ocean, like anchors, rope designs, and ships’ wheels.

Accessories are key in completing a nautical-themed look. Gold and silver jewelry will add extra glam to your new beach-worthy wardrobe. Top it off with a trendy hat and some sunglasses to set your sights on warmer days.

Here are a few nautical looks that will have you sailing into the sunset:
