Hot Plate Recipe Challenge: Best Burger
In July 2012, WV LIVING teamed up with WDTV to help Anne Hart of Provence Market Café & Marketplace in Bridgeport track down the best burger recipe in the region for her Hot Plate segment on WDTV, the CBS affiliate for Weston/Clarksburg/Fairmont. Three finalists were chosen, including first and second finalists Carolyn Blakemore of Fairmont with her Firecracker Burger and Howard Tenke of Clarksburg with his Artery Clogger Burger. The winner of the Burger Challenge was Theresa Hill of Fairmont with her Black Bean and Salmon Burger, and she received a Provence Market Café gift card, as well as a one-year subscription to WV LIVING magazine.
Watch the three finalist segments on WDTV online as each contestant works with Anne to prepare their burger recipes, and enjoy the final segment in which the challenge winner is announced.
